Save Me

Today has been one of those days, so I decided that my theme song for the day would be Jem's "Save me". I've listened to it a couple of times today, and its already putting me in a better mood. Jem has so much talent. I would love to see her in concert. What is your favorite song for a bad day? I should create a feel good playlist when I'm not feeling good.

Anyway I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a relatively good weekend except I missed seeing a special someone. :) Friday I enjoyed a relaxing evening at home playing Uno and watching Mouse Hunt with Bre and Zhane. Saturday I had an awesome day in service, and I started a new bible study. In the evening I met up with some friends in the city and we went to the Pie Bar. It was pretty fun. We had a nice little group. Here is a short review of pie bar - pretty cool atmosphere, the food was pretty good, and the staff is pretty attentive. You should check it out! I had a nice gourmet pizza. It had goat cheese, sun dried tomato's, and mushrooms. It was very good! Sunday after the meeting I came home and spent a couple of hours home before heading to Kim's for a mini gathering. Kim was having her bible study over for dinner and had a few of us over. We had a great time and the food was VERY good. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Did anyone do anything exciting?

Adventures with Sarah

Hi guys!

Trying to step back into the blog world. Miss me? You better. Just kidding! Things are going pretty good just busy with work, pioneering, getting things ready for school, etc. Anyway yesterday after service my good pal Sarah called me to tell me she was off from work and wanted to hang. Suh-weet! Sarah and I met up at my house and then went to Ken Stanton music. Mind you Sarah calls over to get directions from a guy who works there and says "Hey, what up?" Then she said "Hey, where you at?" in order to get directions. Priceless. I was laughing so hard. It was super cold yesterday, and when we got out of the car Sarah was carrying her huge cello that she was planning on returning. All of a sudden I heard a sound, and yup you guessed it poor Sarah dropped her cello. When she got into the store she realized the bag was broken, and the guy at the store said yea I saw what happened. Oooops! :P Anyway Sarah returned the cello successfully. Next stop was The Avenue in Snellville. Yay! Shopping! Anyway as we get out of the car Sarah notices that she locked her keys in the car. Talk about a bad day. Its a good thing we were at a place where we could burn time. We decided to call Roadside Assistance while we shopped. The guy at American Eagle was giving her a hard time about locking her keys in the car. He was an interesting guy, wasn't he Sarah? Roadside Assistance came pretty quickly so we got the keys and then continued to shop. The Avenue is pretty cool so check it out if you are in the area. Anyway Sarah and I had a ton of funny stories from our time together including a debate on how she chooses to say she likes "These ones", or "Those ones." Funny times I tell ya. Anyway I'm looking forward to the weekend. E I totally need to go to the mall and find a super cute outfit for Saturday. Also we really need another girls night. When would work for you girls?

Taffy Time

Yesterday was such a gorgeous day that Candace and I took Taffy to the park. For those of you who don't know Taffy she's a 3yr old girl in my hall. Her parents are studying with my parents, and are working toward baptism. Sheanna normally watches Taffy for Victoria, but she had to head to school to take an Entrance test before she starts college. Anyway Candace and I had Taffy for the afternoon. We took her to Wendy's and bought her a kids meal, and then off to the park. We headed to Bethesda park and searched the park for a playground with swings. How could a playground NOT have swings? We kept driving till we finally saw one with swings. There were about four little kids between the ages of 2-4. They were so cute! Anyway we played with Taffy for a good hour before I got the notion of playing Hide-N- Seek. Lets just say the entire children population which had grown since our arrival joined in. It was pretty fun. We played for an hour running around the park and then we packed Taffy up and drove to pick up Sheanna. One little boy yelled to me "See ya tomorrow", and then he told my mom I was so sweet. Don't I feel special? Our day with Taffy didn't end till about 9 p.m. She danced and sang along to our 90's music channel. Good times I tell you! Well that was my day yesterday, and it almost made me wish I was a nanny. Jessa you must have a blast 90% of the time with the kids you nanny.

Yet another blog in a week. Yesssss!
