Ready to commit! Okay maybe in a couple of years

Okay its official everyone. I want a puppy! We have been having a lot of animal talk on MY wepage and I'm ready to conquer the world with a pet. Well it may be a while. I think I'm going to wait a little before I buy a puppy. I may just have to settle for a fish. I want to make sure I'm pretty settled into my career before I get a dog (man I am beginning to sound like someone waiting to have kids). However whenever I do buy a little Yager ,or a little Bailey I will let you all know. Hopefully it will be soon. I have loved the name Bailey for a puppy but a friend of mine pointed out if I was going to name a dog an alcoholic drink maybe I should go with Yager. Yager sounds cute too, but I wasn't even thinking about the alcohol. Really I wasn't. Does anyone have any comments on future names for my fish or puppy?

Interesting what the Youths of Today have to say about Marriage

(As answered by elementary school students)

You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming.- Alan, age 10

What is the Right Age To Get Married?
No age is good to get married at. You got to be a fool to get married.- Freddie, age 6

You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids.- Derrick, age 8

What Do Most People Do On A Date?
Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough.- Lynnette, age 8

I'd run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns.- Craig, age 9

When they're rich.- Pam, age 7
The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that.- Curt, age 7

Is It Better To Be Single or Married?
It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them.- Anita, age 9

Who needs a vacation?

Beach anyone? Its the ending of the summer.
Share you travel experiences with us if you want.
I know a couple of you guys still have vacation plans in the works :::coughs Tianna:::
So far this year I've been able to travel to Panama (to visit Family), a cruise to Mexico( parent's anniversary present), Florida ( hang time with the girls), and Washington/New York (trip with the parentals). All in all this summer has flown by and all I have to show for it is a cute purple turtle that has Cozumel stamped on it not to mention a couple of T-shirts. LOL
My next travel venture is hopefully England and Scottland in November or December. I'm ready to head to London Baby!

Tam's Online Photo Album

Hey guys!

I think my site is coming along pretty well. I went home today to try and upload some more pics but it was taking forever. If you check my link entitled "Tam's Online Photo Album" it will send you to my flickr account. It has a couple of my pictures that have already been uploaded. Feel free to leave any comments about topics you would like me to cover, or suggestions you have for my site?

Oh, and be nice guys!

Morning Traffic in Lawrenceville

I would just like to say that I'm really happy that the kids of today are getting an education, but I would really love it if they would get on their school bus with a little more haste. This morning I came across six school buses. I mean why do they need so many school buses in such a such a smal span of area? Not to mention I caught every light on my way to work. I only live eight minutes away from my job, but since I had to take Chelseay to work (try heading to Discover Mills mall around 8 a.m ) it took me 45 minutes. Its not fun I tell ya. The only thing that brought me a little bit of solace was my John Mayer cd and Maroon 5. For those of you who don't really know the musical stylings of John Mayer and Maroon 5 check out John Mayer's website or Maroon 5's website I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Oh and since cadoganchick is still a new page I'm still trying to figure out how to add my tons of pics from my digital camera onto this page. Any suggestions? I've already loaded a bunch on flickr.

South Beach

I don't think anyone has tried so hard to stick to a diet as much as I have tried to stick to the South Beach diet. I mean seriously last week I was ready to start, and then I had a chocolate chip cookie breakdown. I figured I would just start on Tuesday instead. Tuesday came around, and I felt horrible totally zapped with no energy, but I stuck with it. Wednesday came around and I felt even worse. Finally Thursday came along, and I couldn't do it anymore I was irritable, cranky, and sleepy and I NEEDED a cookie and some bread. All in all last week I was able to stay on the South Beach diet for two and half days. That must be some new record! I forgot that the reason I was feeling so badly was because I didn't have enough protein ,and I'm already hypoglycemic. Sugar is a big no no on this diet.

Anyway I got a game plan together to start again this Monday, and it went super well. I was so excited! I'm finally doing the south Beach diet and I feel great. Yay! Today however is a totally different story since I went out in service. It seemed like everyone wanted to eat at a place that I couldn't find a South Beach friendly meal not to mention all the questions like "Why are YOU on South Beach?" Needless to say I didn't stay on my diet today. I had a Big Mac (Not South Beach Friendly), Cold Stone Ice Cream (Extremely bad for anyone on South Beach) and a fruit salad. The only productive thing I did besides spending time in service was work out for 45 minutes. I'm beginning to think that I'm not going to be able to stick to this diet. Do I have the patience and the willpower to do so? I sure hope so because I'm going to try it again tomorrow.

Comments anyone?
