What's wrong with people?

About an hour ago I was on the phone with my friend Phillip when he abruptly tells me " Tam, I need to call you back." I said okay. He then proceeded to tell me the reason that he needed to get off the phone was because a gentlemen at the store wanted to return some pants he bought ten years ago. Can you believe that? My goodness that's one is going in the books I tell ya. Poor Phillip who knew that becoming Assistant Manager would bring such interesting people into your life. Comments anyone?

Someone find Jason

This morning Chelseay was on the computer playing her music ,probably loudly, when she heard loud banging at the door. She was greeted at the door by two police officers who asked her if she was alone and she said yes. The police officers then asked if there was a young man by the name of Jason who lived here. Chelseay said nothing but girls live in the house. Poor girl forget about dad. Anyway she asked if there was a problem, and they asked her if she mad a call recently and she said just to her hairdresser. Then told her that a young man name Jason made a call to the police saying he was going to attempt suicide. The police then told Chelseay that they thought the call was from here and that's why there were here. When Chelseay told me this on the phone today I said I hope they find Jason because they justed wasted a ton of time looking for him at the wrong house. Go figure! Someone find Jason!

Gas Prices

I don't know about you guys but gas prices are crazy lately. I hear that its expected to soar to even $3.00 soon. I've been using my gas buddy to check the lowest prices in my area. Hope this helps guys!

Work at Sirens

In case any of you all missed me yesterday I was out in my ministry till 4 p.m.

After balancing my checkbook yesterday morning I felt incredibly broke and joked with my sister that I need a second job. She then told me that she could let me work at her job if I really wanted the extra money. I seriously thought she was joking till she called me at 2 p.m., and asked if I could come into work. Apparently her store needs a lot of work unpacking new shipments, and getting their new inventory on the floor. I called my friend Candace and some of my other friends to see if they would like to help out and get some extra cash. Candace went in around 3 p.m. and Sheanna and I started work around 6:30. I was initially going to get there at 5 then I changed it to 6, and when I was walking out the door Sheanna decided at the last minute she wanted to go too. Anyway as I walked into Sirens (I've never bought anything there before) I was sent into the back to organize their back room. All I have to say is good lord. They had hangers everywhere and they had a new line of pants that needed to be taken out of the boxes. Did I mention I didn't get anything to eat before I came into work? After working for an hour and half Sheanna and I were starting to get headaches so we asked another manager if we could take a five minute break she said "Sure that's fine." I then told my sister the big manager in the store I was leaving to get a bite to eat. She then said "Why did you even come if you are not going to work?" I promise you five minutes later she called me on my cell to yell and say " I really don't know why you guys came to work I mean you've been gone 20 minutes and you weren't even here long. I've been here all day and I haven't taken a break." I just thought to myself I think Sirens is in a time zone all their own if five minutes is twenty over there. Anyway my back hurts and I'm tired today I just thought I would explain why my brain is not functioning well enough to come up with a more interesting blog. Any comments on my day of crap with my sister the manager? I tell ya sometimes family and business really don't mix.

Weekend Highlights

What a weekend!

Friday - We met at Ruby Tuesday, and headed out to the bowling alley for a night of fun. Our initial plans of going miniature golfing didn't work out since it was raining. When we got to the bowling alley we had to wait a little while since there were twelve of us. Kristian, Zack, and Troy then proceeded to take our their skateboards and skateboard (Kristian and Zack didn't have their shirts on) in the front of the bowling alley. We finally got two lanes and we proceeded to split up in teams I guess. Team one - Troy, Liz, Chloe, Stephanie, Eric, and Fergie (Fernando). Team Two was my team - Kristian, Poopyface(Zack), Tom, Tianna, and Tam,Shea (Tianna spelled her name Sha on the scoreboard). I'm not sure who won but I can definitely say it wasn't me. I didn't do horrible that night I even got a strike and a spare at least once. Woo-hoo! We finally departed the bowling alley at around 12:45. It was a very nice night!

Saturday - What an evening! :) Hung out at Scott and Gaby's house. Pretty much talked and was messed with for my taste in clothes and music. It was then pretty much decided that I am not a real Cadogan, and that Stephanie ( a white sister from California) was the real Cadogan who was missing because she knew what Hip Hop was and she liked R & B. Oh, well I don't care what anyone says I like Abercrombie, American Eagle, Buckle, and Banana Republic, Gap and I'm not changing. LOL

Sunday - We went to Tianna's congregation because she had a guest speaker from the Russian branch give the talk. What a moving talk he gave. We learned about the work in Russia and how it is under ban over there. It was such an encouraging talk. I'll have to go into more details a little bit later when I have time. After the meeting we got lost for about an hour trying to make it from Crabapple to Cobb Parkway. We finally found it and we arrived safely to visit our dear friend Tasha who is ill. All in all it was a great weekend! Nothing crazy but not exactly boring either. Hopefully I'll have more of an interesting blog later.
