Introducing "My Favorite Things"

Hello all!

I was thinking about some of my favorite music, TV show, commercials, etc of this week and I figured that I would blog about it. I think it would be a nice weekly addition to my blog. Feel free to comment on my choices each week.

Favorite song of the week - Chasing cars by Snow Patrol ( I can't get enough of this song)

Favorite day of the week - Tuesday

Favorite album of the week - Corinne Bailey Rae ( guess the artist name) LOL

Favorite new show - Greg Behrendt Show (cool talk show from the coauthor of "He's Just Not That into You."

Favorite new term - Vintage gangsta hippie (That was the response when this hippie looking guy was describing his style on the Greg Behrendt Show) I literally laughed out loud for several minutes.

Favorite episode of the week - Fraiser's "Good night Seattle"

Oh I've posted a couple of New York pics. I'll post the rest later.

Don't forget to click on the music links I've provided for Snow Patrol and Corinne Bailey Rae. :)

I think I need a vacation

My day started with early morning witnessing, and an early morning come on from a car wash employee. I know how to pick them. TRUST ME!!! I pull up to the car wash and I'm assisted by the short man who is informing me about my car washing options. I choose option C since my car was just moderately dirty. Anyway my car wash attendant then proceeds to flirt with me and tells me what a beautiful smile I have. I'm thinking "Oh, give me a break already." He then asks me if this is my first visit to this location. No actually I've been here several times thank you. Of course that's followed by the standard "Oh, I don't think so I would remember you if you've been here before. I always remember a pretty face. " What-ever!!! I FINALLY get my car wash, and as I'm vacuuming the interior when my friend the car wash attendant talks to me about their new air fresheners. Anyway afterward he asks whether I'll be going to work after I'm done with my car. I informed him that I was involved in a bible education program. He then asked if he could assist me. To make a long story short this man tried to convince me how much he loved Jesus and wanted a bible study. He asked for my number and I gave him a Watchtower on "Lessons Jesus taught us" along with my name and the number he can contact me. He can always contact me at the kingdom hall. I'm glad I have the number in my phone. :) Next time I'll have to tell you about my new return visit who several people think may be homosexual. I hope not since she is a girl. That's how my day went. Can I get some sympathy please? I did have a wonderful day out in service. It was filled with tons of return visits and a bible study at the end. Tomorrow is a work day. :(
